To preserve the livelihood of producers and protect our planet, regenerative agriculture must be more accessible. This includes streamlining the adoption process and easing financial obstacles in order to remove the burden from the producer.

Food and natural resource security is a problem that impacts everybody, but the solutions can be supported by anybody.

You can help RIPE make regenerative agriculture a reality for all producers, regardless of operation size or commodity type. Additional benefits include reduced greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, improved water and soil quality and biodiversity, better access to healthy food, and more.

Get Involved

  • Support RIPE's mission by staying informed and educating others.

  • Our producer-led Steering Committee advises on producer engagement, contributes to policy design and makes recommendations on other opportunities that support RIPE’s mission. It is made up of a diverse group of state, regional, and national trade associations and producer groups.

  • RIPE’s Farmer Advisory Network (FAN) is a group of motivated producer-leaders from around the country that is working to build support for RIPE’s approach. Members spread the word to other producers, share the policy with their ag associations to advance conversations with legislators, and get RIPE in the media.

  • The IDEA Committee was formed through discussions with RIPE stakeholders and staff to ensure that farmers and ranchers who have historically been underserved by USDA programs are central in designing the RIPE proposal.

    It is focused on raising up historically underserved producers and their perspectives to approaching climate-smart agriculture and addressing equity issues in agriculture as it relates to RIPE. 

RIPE’s coalition members are treasured voices in our community. Members of our committees and advisory groups help ensure our work is as timely, relevant, and impactful as possible. Additionally, we want our coalition to be as far-reaching as possible so that we can tell the stories of all American farmers and ranchers, regardless of location, operation size or commodity type.
